Aqua Gloss-it™ 100% Acrylic Quick Dry Enamel (Whites & Neutrals)

DAVIES® Aqua Gloss-it™ is a high gloss 100% acrylic water based paint formulated to replace conventional solvent based alkyd enamel. This latest breakthrough in waterborne paint technology combines the high gloss and smooth finish properties of solvent based alkyd enamels and the fast-drying and environment-friendly features of water based alkyd paints. DAVIES® Aqua Gloss-it™ dries to a tough and durable finish due to its room temperature, crosslinking capability.

Recommended for:
Wood and metal surfaces such as doors, window frames, grills,
furnitures, cabinets and others.

SURFACE PREPARATION
A. New Surfaces:
Wood Surfaces
1. All areas to be painted must be dry and free of dirt, dust,
grease, oil and other contaminants.
2. Sand wood surfaces until smooth to the touch and no slivers or
rough edges remain. Dust-off completely, then wipe with a
clean rag.

Metal Surfaces
1. All areas to be painted must be dry and free of dirt, dust, grease,
oil and other contaminants.
2. Sand or wire brush all metal exposed in weather for some time.
3. For severely corroded areas, treat with DAVIES ® Greco™ Rust
Converter DV-200-X. Let stand overnight, then wipe with
DAVIES ® Lacquer Thinner DV-71 using a clean rag.

B. Previously Painted Surfaces:
1. All areas to be painted must be dry and free of dirt, dust, grease,
oil and other contaminants.
2. If the existing paint is sound and only shows slight chalking,
sand lightly and wipe of surface dust.
3. If the existing paint is cracked, peeling, or in generally poor
condition, completely remove paint film by scraping, wire
brushing or sanding.

STORAGE AND HANDLING
• Keep container closed when not in use.
• Store in a cool, dry and well-ventilated space.
• Do not transfer contents to other containers for storage.
• In case of spillage absorb with inert materials such as sand.
