Davies Roofshield® 100% Acrylic Gloss Roof Paint (Blues)

DAVIES® Roofshield® is 100% acrylic water-based gloss paint for beautifying and protecting roof surfaces such as galvanized iron and cementitious roofs.

Recommended uses:

• Roofing Materials - galvanized iron and tegula tiles
• Cementitious masonry walls

APPLICATION DATA

Application Method: Brush / Roller / Spray

Thinning : Dilute with not more than 5% water

Practical Coverage : 30-35 sq.m / 4L /coat depending on surface porosity

Recoating Interval : 2-3 hours

Drying Time : 2 hours

SURFACE PREPARATION

A. Galvanized Iron Roof:

1. All surfaces must be clean, dry, free from dust, dirt, chalk, laitance, eorescence, rust, grease, oil and other foreign materials.
2. Wipe o oil and grease with solvent or lacquer thinner. Remove rust, mill scale, and stains with sandpaper, wirebrush, or other abrading methods.
3. Apply the appropriate metal primer immediately after cleaning and drying to avoid the onset of corrosion.

B. Cementitious Roof:

1. All surfaces must be clean, dry, free from dust, dirt, chalk, laitance, eorescence, rust, grease, oil and other foreign materials.
2. Remove mold and mildew growth with DAVIES® Mildewcide Wash Solution DV-500-X. Rinse with water, dry, and immediately apply the recommended paint system to prevent regrowth of mold and mildew.

STORAGE AND HANDLING

• Keep container closed when not in use.
• Store in a cool, dry and well-ventilated space.
• Do not transfer contents to other containers for storage.
• In case of spillage absorb with inert materials such as sand.
